"Return Home" serves as both the title of the exhibition and a video created in 2019 in Brittany as a tribute to the victims who perished in the Mediterranean Sea. Across two open floors, the works, primarily consisting of video images and sounds, create a unique harmony, as if everything has been meticulously calculated.

In response to this, Ha Cha Youn states, "Yes, in this installation featuring multiple video works coexisting with others, the adjustment of sound is crucial for it to harmonize like an orchestral piece. This time, a Requiem!"

In a pandemic-stricken world, we become more sensitive and pose questions about our world and planet. The answer is evident: "living together" in the broadest sense. With Return Home, Ha Cha Youn presents a new creation: Mat, Boat, Carpet – my mat, a boat, a large carpet for all, attaching thousands of plastic bottles with cords collected from the beach, thus creating a navigational situation.
