Release of the comprehensive catalog of Ha Cha Youn's work: HA CHA YOUN Home(s), a 285 pages digital publication, available in both English and original languages (Korean, German, French).
The publication was part of the "Artist Research-Study-Critique" project for 2022-2023, a program supported by Arts Council Korea with the aim of promoting Korean artists on the international stage. The Alternative space LOOP in Seoul spearheaded and carried out this through research project.
Installations, performances, videos, assemblages, photographs – Ha Cha Youn's artistic development over the past 40 years is presented in this publication. It is accompanied by texts from Gim JongGil, Michael Erlhoff, Raimar Stange, Dominique Truco, Ji Yoon Yang, and Sun Mi Lee/Ha Cha Youn, as well as a biography and a complete listing of works.
To coincide with the release of the catalog, an online screening of four videos and a documentary film will take place from February 26th to March 6th, 2024.
